NXNE has a way of pulling local scenes into a bigger conversation, and this year’s Alberta artists fit right into that. We spent time with the lineup and kept circling back to a handful of names—artists we had to replay just to catch everything happening in the track. Some feel built for loud rooms, others sit more quietly until you realize they’ve been stuck in your head for hours. These are three of the Alberta acts representing the province at NXNE this year.
