There’s always a point in a festival lineup where you stop scrolling and just start listening properly. That happened a few times with this year’s NXNE alternative rock picks. These six artists were the ones we kept returning to—sometimes for energy, sometimes because a song didn’t fully reveal itself on the first pass. A couple hit immediately, others crept in quietly and stayed. If you’re in the mood for something new, start here and let it run.
